THE ANTAGONY & ECSTASY 1000th POST SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR
On this its 1004th day of existence, this humble little blog has reached a milestone indeed: 1000 posts, some of which don't completely suck and far too few of which contain the phrase "as funny as losing a testicle to cancer." Come celebrate with me after the jump!
First, we have a visit from those lovable German folk metal rockers In Extremo
Next, a very special acoustic ABBA tribute
A little something for my hometown boys, and, um, fans of shitty '90s animated movies
Mr. T pities the fools who don't respect their mamas
Beloved funnyman Steve Martin with his unique spin on the Beatles
'80s supergroup Europe couldn't be with us, but they send this cover band with love
Here's an old chestnut: Pokemon rapping!
Hey, this is a movie blog! Where's the number where Rob Lowe and a Disney heroine pay homage to the stars of Old Hollywood? Right here, that's where!
In the greenroom, a midget teaches Ren Faire enthusiasts how to dance to synthpop
And it's not a party until Leonard Nimoy has a turn at the mic
What's better than Starship? Disney Channel covers of Starship, of course
The infamous Quaalude Tango from The Apple
And where there's The Apple, there must also be Xanadu
Speaking of Olivia Newton-John:
Plus appearances from very special guest stars William Shatner...
and Carrie Fisher!
And with that, the Dancing Pig says goodnight, one and all

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
Take it on home, dancing porker!
