So, for the second time in a week, I'm doing some traveling, which in this case means something so terrible that I can barely find the words to say it: but in a nutshell, this evening's review of Paranoia Agent, episode 8 is going to be my last write-up of that series for almost a week (foresight failed me; and confronted with the choice of waiting, or writing pieces that weren't as substantial and illustrated as I'd have liked, it was an easy choice to wait). I'm also going to have a hell of a time keeping up with comments - worse even than usual, I mean - so I'll have to beg your patience for both of these things.
The good news is that I do in fact have something planned in the interim that should be delightful in its own way. Details Monday.
Also, I'm going to start reviewing actual new release movies again at some point, but let's not be hasty.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
I don't want to exaggerate, but I honestly think that this news is three or four times worse than all of mankind's atrocities put together.
