ALL IS WELL

We did have a little scare there, didn't we? To anyone who saw that "Blog has been removed" notice, I promise you weren't as fucking freaked out about it as I was. But everything seems to be well now, so I hope you're reading this and not off hunting for other film review sites on the assumption that mine is dead, dead, dead, never to return. Because that's certainly not the case, though for a horrible few minutes there...

    It must have been only a couple hours, since I accessed it in my morning and my afternoon.. What happened to the site you were preparing, or do you prefer blogspot after all..

    That site's still coming, eventually. A hell of a lot of backstage work needs to be done, and there's only so much time in the day.

    I never saw said ominous notice, though I cannot describe how utterly disappointed I would be if this blog were to suddenly vanish without a trace. I can say without reservation that this is my go-to place for movie reviews, and it would be mighty difficult to replace.

    I also never saw the dread notice, but a friend texted me about it and gave me quite a scare. I'd be absolutely heartbroken if this blog were to go away. Your reviews are among the best I've ever read, and I've learned so much about formal filmmaking here that it's like a film school away from school. So three cheers for Tim, whose death was greatly exaggerated!

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.

Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
