THE SECOND QUINQUENNIAL ANTAGONY & ECSTASY ACS FUNDRAISER IS OVER!
The fundraiser is over! Thanks to everybody who donated, and I'll be updating the contributor list and sending confirmation e-mails to everybody.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.

ReplyDeleteBrian and anybody else in the same situation- If you absolutely know that you're going to make a donation prior to Sunday night, but can't do it tomorrow, send me an e-mail with a pledge for how much you want to donate, and I'll save you a spot in line.
ReplyDeleteEverybody generally- I'm not going to respond e-mails or update the contributor list until after the fundraiser is closed, so if you've donated in the last 24 hours and haven't heard back from me, it's not time to panic yet.
Hm, it pains me to be fiscally responsible but I think I'm gonna have to convince myself to wait another 5 years and be happy with the request I already made this go around. (I'll just hope that some day Tim ends up happening to review something like Fantastic Planet, The Last Unicorn, The Thief and the Cobbler, or basically anything from that weird animation era.)
