IMPORTANT STUFF - CHANGE YOUR BOOKMARKS

Hi all.

Effective immediately, and possibly buggy for the next day or two, Antagony & Ecstasy is changing its address. Moving forward, you can reach this blog and all of its content at http://reviews.antagonyecstasy.com.

I shall not bore you with the particulars, but it's related to some housecleaning being done by other people that intimately affects me. This likely also means that my lazy, easygoing attempts to move the whole matter of this blog over to a new site will be happening much quicker than I anticipated (I haven't really touched the site since I started the plan to move for grad school, a year ago to the exact week), and certainly with many gaps. We'll deal with that when we must.

In the meantime, again, that's http://reviews.antagonyecstasy.com

  1. Tim,

Good luck with the transition! It looks like the RSS feed address is staying the same, is this right? (And am I the only person who still uses RSS?)

  2. Mark - NOPE! Another ancient person using RSS here. I changed my feed over to the new address as well.

  3. Time to edit my bookmark. Thanks for the heads up. Good luck with the move.

  4. It seems to auto redirect to the new address. I didn't even notice. Hopefully the move works out without any page-breaking bugs.

  5. It certainly ought to auto-redirect, but I'd hate to trust that without explaining to everybody what's going on. As for RSS, I really have no clue. I honestly have no idea how that whole thing works (if all y'all are ancient, I'm primordial, as far as using shit on the internet), but I know it gets used so I leave it there.

  6. Will the Movieglut archives still be at the same address? Or will that be folded over into the new website?

  7. Movieglut seems to have remained the same.

  8. Yeah, the index is untouched for right now. Of course, the main driver for the new site is to have a more elegant & sophisticated way of indexing things.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.

Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
