We just see the movie very differently. I notice you seemed to have a problem with slasher films being funny (you also hated part 6, the only sequel I thought was worth a damn) or self-aware...apologies if I'm misrepresenting you here, but I definitely picked up on a don't-get-comedy-in-my-horror thread running through these reviews. <br /><br />And that's fine - you like em one way, I like em another. I think "Jason X" is the best film of the entire series, because treating an immortal indestructible teen-killing machine as anything other than a joke is the real bad comedy. A series that started off with a zombie ten year old coming back in the sequel as a full-grown adult doesn't deserve taking seriously for one second.
