So, the Trib and the Sun-Times are both reporting on Daley's refusal to commit to re-election bid in 2007, because of the Millennium Park kickback scandal.
For godssakes. This is fucking Chicago. The city is used to, shall we say, a bit of corruption at City Hall. Is it right? No, probably not. Is it a surprise? Hell, no.
Besides which, it would take more than a kickback scandal to keep a Daley from running for office. He's only one term away from beating his dad's record - he's not going to stop now, unless he has to.
