Notables:
-The people of Maine, they sure do love their Senators.
-Santorum bottoms out the list at 42% (hehe...Santorum bottoms...)
-Obama is the highest non-Maine senator! Yay Illinois!
Other facts worth noting from the day (none of these are related):
-63 US soldiers have died in Iraq since August 1, 2005. This puts us on track for the bloodiest month since January
-It shall be 2006 before another shuttle goes into space.
-Cindy Sheehan has left Crawford to be with her sick mother.
-The Gaza resettlement continues without violence.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
