Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
Hey, I cannot be held responsible for the genesis of this site! Besides, I'm pretty sure it's a labor of love. You will never know the architect! You will never know who else is at work on this project! Or at least you wouldn't have if I hadn't accidentally mentioned their name in an e-mail! Which may have been a red herring! But it might be more than just the two of us! Maybe it is the doings of Jim Emerson, in a desperate ploy to be added to your blogroll!

Gentlemen, while the Lummis/King Missile connection is well-observed, I'm afraid my response has to be "colder... colder..."
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the King Missile thing is leading y'all astray. Especially since Lummis is hardly an indie-rock boy, and is definitely not one to sit around all day reading/making blogs.

Yeah, the reason I got tagged with the project was to up the efficiency of the project. After throwing two or three up, though, I've been delinquent. We'll get it back.
