SUMMER OF BLOOD: A PROPOSED FRIDAY THE 13th TIMELINE

Having finished the damn series, and finding it very hard to properly review this week's Sunday movie (look for it tomorrow), I thought that instead maybe I should go ahead and share the fruits of my labor, and I do regard watching ten F13 films in ten weeks as most arduous labor indeed:

A F13 Timeline

13 June, 1946 - Jason Voorhees is born

Summer, 1957 - Eleven-year-old Jason falls in Crystal Lake, and is presumed dead

Summer, 1958 - Pamela Voorhees kills two counselors, closing Camp Crystal Lake

13-14 June, 1979 - Friday the 13th

August, 1979 - Jason kills Alice (Part 2)

Summer, 1982 - Chris encounters Jason in the woods (Part 3)

12-18 July, 1984 - Part 2, Part 3 and The Final Chapter

Late 1980s - Crystal Lake, NJ changes its name to Forest Green

Summer, 1990 - A New Beginning

May, 1992 - Jason Lives

Late summer, 1992 - Rennie is attacked by Boy Jason in the lake (Jason Takes Manhattan)

Early 1990s - Forest Green changes its name back

13 October, 1995 - Tina kills her father (The New Blood)

Summer, 2002 - The New Blood

May, 2003 - Jason Takes Manhattan

Summer, 2004 - Jason Goes to Hell

2008 - Jason is somehow released from Hell, whereupon he was caught by the US government (Jason X)

2010 - The Crysal Lake Research Facility is frozen with Jason and Rowan inside (Jason X)

2011-2454 - Oh, they'll find a way to fit another damn story in here. Make no mistake of that, my dears.

2455 - Jason X

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.

Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
