THE REMIXED BLOG
As of this morning, the blog re-do is in effect, although I'm reasonably certain that it affects me on the back end more than it affects the reading experience, and if my late-night tinkering with colors and fonts worked right, I'm hoping that you have no more than an uncanny sense that something is vaguely off about... the borders? the weight of the lettering? But I find Blogger increasingly unhelpful to work with, and as I said, I was doing this late at night. So if there are any significant problems I should know about, consider this an open thread for such matters.
By the way, there will be a more proper re-design in the relatively near future, and possibly a jump to another platform, further in the relatively near future - I'm pretty damned pissed at Google and Blogger just at the moment, I don't mind saying.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
All looks fine -- did you do all the changes via the Blogger frontend or did you actually manually edit the template file. As someone who did the latter, I can understand the time it takes to get things to look how you want (better parts of a week, for me). They don't make it simple.
