SUMMER OF BLOOD: A BRIEF PAUSE
Did I not caution when I started this Summer of Blood that I was going to have a harder time finding some movies than others? And here we are, with some good news and some bad news.
The good news: I will be able to watch The Pit, the 1981 film I had scheduled for today.
The bad news: that won't be happening for a couple of days yet.
The worse news: I didn't have a back-up ready to go.
I thank you all for being patient during this brief hiatus, and I pledge that the Summer of Blood will go on with the full complement of 15 movies, and will return to its expected schedule next weekend.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
I watched the whole thing on YouTube. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ChjI9zVSbao
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Mike! Next week should be good. I'm 50 seconds in and already I think I'm already intrigued.
ReplyDeleteTim, you're the only man I know who would apologise for not performing a free service as fast as he might. It does credit to your character, and credit to your ability that we await your triumphant return with bated breath.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen World War Z yet? I just got out of the theater and I'm dying to hear your take on it.
Well, damn, checking YouTube never even crossed my mind...
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen either of the week's big wide releases yet, but I'll be getting to both of them ASAP.
In case anyone is interested, I've moved on to watching Visiting Hours (the next projected S.O.B. entry) on YouTube as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNKRiqibX5A
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find that anywhere else.
