LAMBS TO THE SLAUGHTER
If the vote keeps heading the way it's obviously heading, you'll all have a chance to read my full review of the Oscar-winning cannibal horror film The Silence of the Lambs in about two weeks. But in the meantime, to celebrate that film's 25th anniversary this week, myself and four other members of Team Film Experience just completed a tag-team review of the film. Come over and check it out! I wrote today's concluding chapter, but of course you'll want to start with part 1, written by Kieran Scarlett on Monday.

Just a few rules so that everybody can have fun: ad hominem attacks on the blogger are fair; ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. And I will absolutely not stand for anything that is, in my judgment, demeaning, insulting or hateful to any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. And though I won't insist on keeping politics out, let's think long and hard before we say anything particularly inflammatory.
Also, sorry about the whole "must be a registered user" thing, but I do deeply hate to get spam, and I refuse to take on the totalitarian mantle of moderating comments, and I am much too lazy to try to migrate over to a better comments system than the one that comes pre-loaded with Blogger.
Did you say you were also going to review the second highest-scoring entry in the contest? Because TBH I'd be more interested to hear your thoughts on Forrest Gump.
ReplyDeleteI said exactly that thing. That was when I was hoping West Side Story and It Happened One Night would put up a stronger fight, but a promise is a promise.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you want to wait until the inevitable review but lemme ask you... Anthony Hopkins winning Best Actor - category fraud or not? I have such a tough time trying to figure it out.
